Enhancement Shaman DPS Stat Priority (Legion 7.2.5)
Table of Contents
General Information
On this page, we explain what the best statistics are for Enhancement Shamans in World of Warcraft Legion 7.2.5, how the class benefits from each of them.
The statistics priority is important as it influences itemisation choices (gear, enchants, and gems).
The other pages of our Enhancement Shaman guide can be accessed from the table of contents on the right.

1. Basics
The stat priority for an Enhancement Shaman is:
- Haste = Mastery;
- Agility;
- Versatility;
- Critical Strike.
1.1. Breakpoints & Ratios
Currently there is a soft breakpoint for Enhancement that exists around
25% Haste. This is due to fitting in an additional Global Cooldown within
the
Doom Winds effect, and the
Unleash Doom proc.
Whilst this is not necessary and you should not sacrifice excessive stats to
achieve this, it is beneficial and if you find yourself in a situation where
you can achieve this, you should aim for it.
2. Getting a Better Understanding
Agility provides you with Attack Power, which increases the damage of your melee attacks.
Mastery, through
Mastery: Enhanced Elements, increases all of
your Fire, Frost, and Nature damage and further increases the chance to proc
Stormbringer and
Windfury.
Haste increases the speed of your melee autoattacks, enabling you to
get more procs on
Stormbringer and
Windfury. You will also
generate more Maelstrom Power due to your
Maelstrom Weapon passive.
Haste also decreases the cooldown of
Stormstrike,
Boulderfist,
Crash Lightning, and
Flametongue.
Critical Strike increases the damage of your attacks and spells.
Versatility is a flat-out damage done increase and damage taken reduction.
