Welcome to our Mistweaver Monk healing guide for World of Warcraft Legion 7.3.5. Here, you will learn everything you need to know about playing a Mistweaver Monk in a raid environment and in Mythic+ dungeons.

1. Class Overview

The Mistweaver specialisation is versatile, and different talent choices can allow it to fit the requirements of the raid very well. Mistweavers can, therefore, heal both tanks and the raid very well.

While they can perform both tank and raid healing roles, Mistweavers struggle to cover both roles at the same time. This is due to the fact that making extensive use of both Enveloping Mist (for single target) and Essence Font (for AoE) proves too costly to be able to sustain from a Mana perspective.

2. Patch 7.3 Changes for Mistweaver Monks

• The damage of many abilities and talents has been increased.
• A new personal defensive cooldown, Fortifying Brew, has been added.

3. Patch 7.2.5 Changes for Mistweaver Monks

• The cost of Enveloping Mist, Vivify, Refreshing Jade Wind, and Essence Font has been reduced.
• Essence Font now has a cooldown, heals for slightly more, and can be cast while moving. Thunder Focus Tea now causes Essence Font to channel twice as fast (since the old effect of allowing you to cast it while moving is no longer relevant).
• The cooldown of Refreshing Jade Wind has been increased from 6 to 9 seconds, and its healing has also been increased.
• Two new legendary items, Soul of the Grandmaster and Doorway to Nowhere, have been added.

4. Patch 7.2 Changes for Mistweaver Monks

• Artifact traits have been slightly reworked. After spending 35 points, you now open up a new path, made up of 5 new traits ( Mists of the Broken Temple, Tendrils of Revival, Effusive Mists, Whispers of Shaohao, and Concordance of the Legionfall) and all traits with 3 ranks get an additional 4th rank that you can invest in.
• The tier 1 Mistwalk talent has been replaced with Chi Wave.
