This page shows you how to level up the Artifact and how to choose the right Relics for your Holy Paladins. It is updated for World of Warcraft Legion 7.2.5.

1. Artifact Progression

The first 35 Artifact points should be taken in such a way that you access the traits that are most valuable in raids, by the time you actually begin raiding. Players interested in doing Mythic+ dungeons instead may wish to opt for other traits. With that said, here is our suggestion.

After the first 35 points have been distributed, the remaining points should be placed in the following order.

2. Relic Choice

When choosing which Relics to use, you generally should take the one that grants you the highest item level, regardless of the benefit it offers (although there is an exception here concerning the top 2 Relics listed below, in which case you can suffer a 2-3 item level loss in exchange for using them). When having to choose between Relics that grant the same item level, chose based on the following trait enhancement priority.

1. Shock Treatment
2. Deliver the Light
3. Second Sunrise
4. Expel the Darkness
5. Tyr's Munificence
6. Justice through Sacrifice
