General Information

Welcome to our World of Warcraft encounter guide for Eonar the Life-Binder in Antorus, the Burning Throne. We will teach you everything you need to know to defeat the boss in every difficulty.

On this particular page, we will give you a short overview of the fight as well as a list of things to watch out for (include LFR tips when applicable).

To make it easy to navigate the guide, we have split it into 3 pages:

2. Lore

Eonar can be accessed after the Garothi Worldbreaker has been defeated.

Though she was felled by the blade of Sargeras, the Life Binder's essence escaped the grasp of the Dark Titan. After millennia spent hiding in isolation, Eonar's sanctuary has been discovered by the Legion.

Should her soul fall into the enemy's hands, Eonar's powers of nature and growth will be perverted to make the Burning Crusade unstoppable.

3. Outline

Eonar is a unique encounter where the raid must protect the Essence of Eonar from being killed by defeating waves of Legion forces. The Legion forces portal in to three separate lanes that all lead to Eonar, making this boss eerily similar to a "Tower Defense" game. Players will have to split into sub-groups and defend several paths at once, all while avoiding the bombardment of the sinister Legion starship, the The Paraxis.

4. TL;DR

4.1. Tanks

• Pick up and tank the Fel-Infused Destructors.
• Pick up and tank the Fel-Powered Purifiers, while keeping them faced away from allied players.

4.2. Healers

• Provide surgical healing to players targeted with Rain of Fel.

4.3. Everyone

• Use crowd control to slow the advance of the Legion ground forces while bringing them down.
• Use your Surge of Life to quickly move around the platforms if necessary.
• Kite Spear of Doom along the edges of the lanes to avoid granting movement speed to the Legion ground forces.

5. Bloodlust/Heroism/Time Warp

There is no definitive moment where Bloodlust/ Heroism/ Time Warp makes a major impact on this fight. A good default usage is on the first upper path spawn, as the Fel-Powered Purifier is quite tanky, and a set of adds spawns on the lower path very shortly after, making it an effective point for both groups.
