1. Gems

1.1. Master Poisoner/Toxic Blade or Elaborate Planning/Alacrity

You should use Saber's Eye of Agility in one socket, and Masterful Shadowruby in all other sockets.

1.2. Elaborate Planning/Exsanguinate

You should use Saber's Eye of Agility in one socket, and Versatile Maelstrom Sapphire in all other sockets.

2. Enchants

2.1. Master Poisoner/Toxic Blade or Elaborate Planning/Alacrity

3. Consumables

Flask of the Seventh Demon should be used as your flask of choice. You should eat Lavish Suramar Feast for the +500 Agility buff (or the cheaper Hearty Feast if you cannot afford the +500 food). Alternatively and depending on your choice of Tier 6 talent, you can eat Lemon Herb Filet for the Versatility buff or Nightborne Delicacy Platter for the Mastery buff (or Barracuda Mrglgagh, if you cannot afford the +375 food). Ancient Healing Potion should be used in place of Healthstones.

Potion of the Old War is the best potion for dealing single target damage. Potion of Prolonged Power, however, is a superior option when AoE is the priority. As we excel at dealing single target damage, Potion of the Old War is usually recommended for raid encounters. Potion of Prolonged Power is recommended for Mythic+ farming due to the duration, economy, and flexibility of the potions.

If you can afford it, you should also use the Legion augment rune: Defiled Augment Rune. Note that it now works in Mythic+ dungeons (it did not used to).
